I’m back from Sugoi and boy are my thingies thingying!
I don’t know what that means either, but you know the intent. So once again, I’ve flown to Kentucky, and once again I’ve loved every minute of my time there. From the con chair Nate, and his hospitality towards myself and Debbie – to all of the fantastic voice actors and webcomickers we got to hang out with – to the fans and friends that made their way out to see me – it was a great time.
So this is strip doesn’t move the plot along, but I honestly LOVED the idea of the Baron wearing a yarmulke. Little things amuse me, ya know?
Anyway, I’ll be writing about some of my post Kentucky thoughts in the week to come, but it’s nice to be home with my kitties again.
Til Friday.
It actually works on the Baron. I like that he tried on a bunch of different hats. It’s nice to see something crazy, random & different every once in a while š
This makes me smile SO much! As a jew, I whole-heartedly approve of his fashion statement. lol š
Possible Connection: Samedi is French for Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath. Voodoo (supposedly) animates zombies, the Jewish can (supposedly) animate golems. So maybe there IS a connection after all.
Well, that and the ludicrous headwear (which is clearly the most important thing).
Maybe Rabbi Samedi could animate a gombie. Or a zolem. Oy vey.
What, Devil didn’t complain about the bishop’s miter? I’m pretty sure the Baron’s not Roman Catholic, either, even if the link is easier to make…
