Back to the matter at hand. Don’t ask me where Pie Time came from.
I think I was harkoning back to the old Garfield & Friends cartoons, that for no apparent reason, Binky the Clown would hit people with pies with a ‘SPLUT’ sound effect. SPLUT! remains in my vocabulary to this very day because of it. Similar to every time I’m watching professional wrestling and someone gets hit with a chair, I can only think of Quickdraw McGraw’s EL-KABONG!

See, now I went with the classic weebl and bob “When come back, bring pie” schtick. Mwuahah!

The last time an angel lost its wings, Niel Geiman made it into a comic series. If Zeke loses his, I have visions of Lucy making him fairy wings til they grow back. 🙂
And I thought I was the only one who shouted El-KABONG! when I hit stuff.
I still get weird looks… and it makes me sad how many times I have to explain it. Does everyone forget their childhood so quickly?
