The Descension of Ishtar
Hey look – God & Devil talking!
They’ll have a moment or two soon.. although out of the original IHL pantheon, they won’t be getting a story soon. There is another couple of characters that have been long been waiting their moment in the sun. That won’t be til after this story though.. so let your own speculations begin.
Anyway – for those who don’t know the story of Ishtar, I didn’t until a couple of weeks ago when I was hunting around for my next story. Its a fun one, and there are a couple interpretations to work from, so there is room for shenanigans. It is a fairly classic story in the mythological sense.. but it has its own special quirks. Hell, I even did a variation of this story in the original recipe IHL.. but I dug the differences and reasons for this one, so yeah – here ya go.
