Hey all – smaller page today. It’s been a busy/rough week. Dealing with a bunch of family stuffs on one end, but on the other the comic community lost one of its own.

Many moons ago, I was introduced to the ComicGeekSpeak Podcast. A whole slew of nerds talking comics. It was one of the first “big” comic casts I had heard about, and it wasn’t long until we were bumping into each other at countless comic shows around the east coast.

Over the years, I’ve gotten to know the Geeks and have been honored to be on their show not only as a guest, but as a member of their extended family.

Jamie D, larger than life with a voice that was rich and full of laughter, finished his fight against cancer. He put up the fight as long as anyone I’ve ever met, and my life is better having had him in my life. Sorry for the down note, but you all owe it to yourself to take an hour and go read a comic in honor of a wonderful man that loved this hobby more than most.
