Hel appeared once… in IHL #707. The initial intent was for her to be a love interest for the Devil. Sometimes stories that I concoct just don’t end up that way. The Norse just didn’t get a chance to show up again until now. I also already have Rita & Net, Lucy and Zeke.. putting another couple together just seemed unnecessary.

I am glad they get to meet officially though.

In an alternate universe there would be a weird love triangle between her, Devil, and Samedi. Maybe one day…
