There was no reason for that footnote. I just wanted to put it there for me. Originally, as I did this strip, I concocted the idea of doing an entire storyline that does nothing but reference other storylines until the entire second part of the comic is filled with self-referential editorial footnotes.
I might use that idea in some later project, but I realized that I only have 8 strips to get to the. uhm… well.. til then, and I couldn’t fit it in.
Ah well.
BTW – KEEP SENDING THOSE GUEST STRIPS!
I’m so sick of summer time. I want it to be Autumn so I can wear my awesome tiger hat. Todays comic was very informative.
