Evening all,
For those who aren’t on the RSS feed, or don’t think to scroll down. I’ll assume you’ve already read today’s comic. Thanks for that. After reading this.. don’t stop – there’s more! Scroll down and see my call to war! The call to DOT REVOLUTIONISM! This leads a lot of confusing questions for not only you, the reader, who is already totally engaged in this project. “WE ARE!” they say collectively. Ok, even if you aren’t, it’s my idea dammit and I’m sticking to it. So it’s still a touch confusing for me, which is why I need your help.
The base idea is to keep reading In His Likeness. That’s it. Nothing hard there. The next step, for those who choose to move on from there is to take the IN DOT WE TRUST banner – and any future banners – and plaster them everywhere. Like CULT OF ANDRE style. You don’t need to be obnoxious about it. I want fans, not trolls. Just on forums you like or your livejournal or facebook or whatever. If you have ideas for any OTHER types of banners that might be more LJ/FB/etc friendly, lemme know. Stuff like ‘I’M A DOT REVOLUTIONARY’ or something. I’ll work on it, just tell me…
From there, well – it’s up to us. You guys and me. I know I have my loud comment folk who I can expect a few ‘hellos’ a month. This is just as much about those of you who have never left a comment or written an email. No idea will be turned away outright, but I think there is a lot of potential to take IHL and morph it into something a little bigger. I’m not sure what, and that’s what’s exciting about it.
If you aren’t comfy with leaving a comment.. drop an email. I’m always around.
Jamie
PS – Thanks for all the birthday wishes.
Hello darling! i would love to be putting that banner places but how?
I’ve added a CUT & PASTE line below the banner. That should do fine for you. Thanks for the comment.
I’ll stick it somewhere… just will have to wait until I get home, since work blocks (almost) all the fun sites.
I did put it on my Myspace 🙂
I’ll add a banner as my sig on a few forums…
You should make a character page, so that new readers can identify the myriad of characters (which to them just look like a bunch of dots), and so that old ones can keep track of the more obscure ones (i.e. the angry sun dude). Especially if you plan to be attracting so many more new readers, what with this campaign and all.
We’re getting the band back together.
We’re on a mission from Dot
JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJJAJAJAJAJAJJAJ sucker!!!!
Isn’t the green one, the horseman who’s talking, Pestilence?
