I love ol’ school Po. I seriously went from the first page and analyzed whether he sounded too much like my ‘God’ voice. It’s something I have to do regularly when the conversations are kind of middle ground. God has a certain inflection and a certain intonation and attitude. If you’ve been reading long enough, it is easy to hear him in ‘Jamie’s voice’.
So when I have a character that is the focus like Zeus and Po here, it is sometimes a task to specifically go ‘I’m not writing God & Devil’ again, right?
In the end, I realized that these two, Zeus and Poseidon probably have a very God & Devil relationship.. but one difference, as to be featured next page.
The last panel is just gorgeous.
