Like for example, "Heya folks, we are starting a new storyline today" or "In the spirit of ______, I offer this strip" or ... what have you. You could let folks know what other webcomics you ae reading ... or a bit about your humor influences or what you find funny this week. Are you a Steve Martin guy? Do you prefer the antics of Benny Hill? Or Jack Benny? Or, DNA? What shapped you into the creative mastermind we all know you to be? Etc ... etc ... etc ...
